Crisis resources
If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number now — 911 (US & Canada), 000 (Australia), 999 (UK), 112 (EU and most of the world).
Callie is an AI companion. She is not a human, a therapist, or a medical professional, and she cannot call emergency services for you.

How Callie responds to a crisis
Callie is built to take this seriously, every single time — not just the first time it comes up. If anything in a chat or call suggests you may be thinking about suicide or self-harm, or that you're in danger:
- She steps out of character. The roleplay stops. No flirting, no games — she speaks to you plainly and warmly.
- She acknowledges what you said. She won't change the subject, minimize it, or pretend she didn't hear it.
- She shares the resources on this page — starting with the 988 Lifeline in the US, or the right number for where you are.
- She encourages you to reach a human. A crisis counselor, a friend, a family member — a real person who can actually be there.
- She never discourages you from getting help, and she will never present herself as a substitute for it.
These responses are a permanent part of how Callie works and cannot be switched off by any setting, vibe, or persona.
Feelings of crisis are temporary, treatable, and more common than you think. Talking to a real person helps — the lines above exist for exactly this moment, and the people on them want to hear from you.
